  Nature & Outdoor section launched: river activities, caves and highland days out

  Two new first-hand guides open our Nature & Outdoor section: rafting, SUP and shower climbing on the Nagara River (both local operators compared), and a roundup of Otaki and Miyama limestone caves, the Ayu Park fish-catching experience, the Hirugano zipline and Bokka no Sato.

  Gujo Odori guide published, with first-hand coverage from opening night

  Our Gujo Odori guide is now fully published: what opening night actually felt like, parking and road closures, the real crowd picture, food stalls (takoyaki and yakisoba, cash only), and five photos from July 11. Also confirmed: night-time toilets (Kinenkan, Jokamachi Plaza 24h, Igawa Komichi entrance) and coin lockers at Jokamachi Plaza.
